Joe Bell has been practicing criminal law for over thirteen years and has experience representing people in state and federal court who have been charged with a wide variety of criminal charges. Tracy Smith, who joined the firm in 2005, also handles criminal matters.
Joe has appeared in the criminal courts in many of the counties in Eastern North Carolina, in the United State District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of North Carolina, and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Some of the cases the firm routinely handles include drug and narcotic offenses in both state and federal court, driving while impaired (DWI), traffic violations, white collar crimes, violent crimes, and a variety of other misdemeanors and felonies. Our firm has also handled criminal appeals in both state and federal court.
