Wendy P. Wilson has been an associate with the firm since 2001. Wendy’s practice includes estate planning and administration, matters related to estate and fiduciary litigation, income tax, formation of tax-exempt organizations, corporate law, and general civil litigation. Wendy’s recent cases include breach of contract and unfair and deceptive trade practice disputes; real property disputes; and estate litigation involving disputes among beneficiaries and between beneficiaries and fiduciaries, Will and
Trust interpretation, modification of irrevocable trusts, caveat proceedings, and related appeals. Wendy is admitted to practice in North Carolina and in the Federal District Court of the Eastern District of North Carolina, is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law Section, and is a member of the Section’s Ethics Committee.
Wendy is a native of Arlington, Virginia. She graduated with a BS with highest honors from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York in 1990, and obtained a Master of Social Work from Florida State University in 1991. After a career in the field of Social Work, Wendy returned to school and obtained her J.D. with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2000. Wendy served as a law clerk to the Honorable John C. Martin of the Court of Appeals of North Carolina from 2000 to 2001.
